My name is Joanna and I am an avid traveler , professional photographer and content creator. I have been in the industry since 2017 and absolutely love sharing the beauty of the world through my lens. The idea of " The Essentialist" came from my husband actually who thought it would be a great idea to share the perfect essentials one may need on their adventures to wherever life may bring them. The rest is history.

I have always appreciated the art of photography, but it wasn't until I started to explore the world where I realized it was almost impossible for me to put my camera down.

That intoxicating feeling you get the first time you see a new destination was a sensation I never wanted to part with. My love affair with traveling started shortly after. I want to capture the essence of the world around me and I am honored to share that with you now.

Aside from photography and traveling, I love to cook, take long car rides, spend time with my family and explore hidden gems in my backyard. I have a beautiful son who you may see pop up in my work from time to time and he brings me more joy than anything :)
