Weekend getaway at Brazilian Court
Palm Beach, Florida
Recently, I had the privilege to visit beautiful Palm Beach in Florida and I stayed at the historic and glamorous, The Brazilian Court Hotel. The minute I turned down Australian Avenue, I knew that my weekend was going to be a special one. The street was lined with perfect palm trees that gave me an instant feeling of peace and allowed me to disengage from the everyday worries in life. My stay was nothing short of spectacular and the perfect treat to a very hectic month. The Brazilian Court is a oasis located in the heart of Palm Beach, Florida on the East side of Florida. The hotel is a historic landmark that boasts with 1920's glamour and boutique intimacy feels. The architecture is Spanish Colonial and the space is filled with lush greenery and tranquil courtyards. I loved the attention to detail throughout the hotel and the secluded corners designed to perfection. There are 80 rooms total allowing guests to have the best service and left feeling pampered!
Rooms and Suites:
There are a number of different options to choose from when staying at The BrazilianCourt Hotel ranging from studios, one, two and three bedroom suites all perfectly arranged to have access or views of the courtyards or oasis-like pool area. All the rooms are charming and each have unique special touches. The style of the rooms are also Spanish Colonial keeping a harmonious feel throughout the hotel. The inside decor of the room I stayed in was sophisticated with dark mahogany wood, a plush velvet couch and intricate molding. My favorite feature was the soaking jetting tub that I spent every evenings in to unwind filled it with bubbles!
I also loved waking up in the mornings and sitting on the couch taking in the views of the romantic courtyards listening to the birds chirp away as the hotel comes to life.
Dining:
Cafe Boulud:
Normally, when I travel one of the first things I do is look up restaurants in the area as I am a huge foodie at heart! I actually had thought about food blogging before deciding on travel blogging! Well I didn't need to look far because one of the best restaurants in the area was located at the Brazilian Court Hotel, Cafe Boulud. Cafe Boulud is a award winning restaurant with Chef Daniel Boulud front and center. Chef Boulud has won multiple awards including multiple Michelin stars and the Wine spectator's "Grand Award". The French Restaurant offers traditional French cuisine that immediately transports you to France. I spent my summer over in France and my meal was better here that most restaurants there! We enjoyed the the Le Prix Fixe menu with their fabulous wine pairing and I highly recommend selecting this as you get to try all of the chef's favorite dishes and a little bit of everything.
For desert not only did I have a delicious Key Lime Cheesecake but I also had their signature cocktail, a white cosmopolitan. It was to die for and a must when visiting!
Boulud Bar:
This a new expanded bar that is part o Cafe Boulud and offers delicious signature and classic cocktails. I visited the bar after a hot day in the sun as it was a perfect way to cool down.
Frédéric Fekkai Salon
During my stay at The Brazilian Court, I was fortunate enough to visit the Frédéric Fekkai Salon and I was in for such a treat! The staff were all so accommodating and sweet and really went above and beyond with their services. The salon used the highest quality products from the Frederic Fekkai line and Denise did wonders on my hair I highly recommend her if you need a great blow out or a cut! Elle did my make up and I left leaving the salon feeling beautiful as every girl should. Thank you to the entire staff for taking such great care of me and pampering me.
I mainly spent my time relaxing at the hotel but I did get spend a day exploring a little bit of Palm Beach! We spent the morning at the beach which is about 2 blocks from the The Brazilian Court and they have service by the beach so you can lounge comfortably. The views and breeze made for a perfect morning. In the afternoon, we rented bicycles from the hotel and we made our way to the downtown area and eventually to Worth Avenue. This street is lined with more perfect palm trees and has endless luxury stores where you can you can easily spend a day shopping to your hearts desire. We then rode our way towards the other direction making sure to pass Clock tower on our way!
Before heading back to the hotel, we stopped by the Royal Palm Way as it had the tallest palm trees I have ever seen all perfectly lined up stretching to the beach!
Overall, we had the perfect weekend getaway and would really recommend visiting Palm Beach and staying at The Brazilian Court if you are looking for something fun to do on a long weekend! The energy is relaxing, fun and the sun is always shining :)
