I recently had the opportunity to visit my favorite beach destination in the United States, Miami Beach! This beach city is known for embracing it's Latin American culture, vibrant nightlife, diverse food scene and of course, the famous white beach and turquoise water! I have visited Miami Beach many times in the past and every single time I leave wanting to see more. There are always exciting things to do and I catch myself always wanting to come back to experience more. I have compiled a list of some of my favorite things to do and some recommendations to help you plan your next trip to the most beautiful spot in the US! Miami Beach, FL is a perfect spot for a girl's getaway, a bachelor/bachelorette party or a much needed beach retreat to unwind.

How To Get There:

Getting to Miami Beach is fairly easy no matter where you are in the world as there is a large international airport, that majority or airlines fly into daily. The airport is about 30 min from Miami Beach. Once inside the city, it is fairly easy to get around and I would not recommend a rental car as many things are walking distance or you can easily use a taxi or ride share to get to places out of distance. One of my favorite things to do is walking the city as you really get a great sense of the overall energy and vibe of the city!

Where to Stay:

Miami Beach is home to numerous luxury and boutique hotels leaving you with plenty of options to choose from. My personal favorite is The Gabriel Miami South Beach is my personal favorite as it is centrally located right on Collins Ave and with direct beach access. The hotel has a blend of mid-century modernism mixed with quintessential Floridian style that I just fell in love with. The hotel embodies the flair of Miami's historic Art Deco District and you get that sense from the minute you pull up to the hotel. The hotel has two pools, large contemporary rooms and delicious cuisine options.

Another great option for is Moxy South Beach or if you are looking for something higher end, the classic FountaineBleau Miami Beach.

Things to Do:

Miami Beach has a ton of exciting things happening in the city all year round! It is home to many famous events including Art Basel and Art Deco Weekend. You can easily plan your trip around one of these events but some of my favorite things to do are:

- Walking around this Historic Art Deco District and taking in the beautiful architecture!

- Enjoy a day at beach! Rent a lounger and enjoy some cocktails. This beach is beautiful and the water is a beautiful turquoise hue.

- Take a Tai Chi class at Miami Botanical Garden

- Go Salsa Dancing or watch a live performance at A Fish Called Avalon

-Catch the sunset at Southe Point Park

When to Visit?
Miami Beach is one of those destinations that you can visit all year round and you will most likely be greeted with sunny and warm weather. I would recommend the Spring as the weather is more mild and plan accordingly during the Fall as it is rainy season. A long weekend I think is an ideal timeframe but there are plenty of activities if you are looking for a longer stay!

Where to Eat:

Miami Beach has a very diverse and eclectic food scene and there are so many great options for any food cravings you may have. While dining in Miami Beach you will find a wide range of cuisines from Latin American to European Coastal. There are new restaurants popping up all the time and I have yet to be disappointed in any of my meals. Check out some of my favorites below:

Osteria Morini- is a soulful Italian restaurant that has a highly acclaimed Italian concept. The menu consists of seasonal dishes, fresh seafood and a rotating raw bar.

The Drexel- A Mediterranean restaurant serving elevated, yet simple coastal cuisine. Make sure to order the Strawberry Pavlova for dessert- you will not be disappointed!

Monty's Sunset- A casual spot near the water with a fun atmosphere serving up American classics.

Abbale TLV Kitchen- A Telavivian Kitchen. The cuisine is a blend of Miami and Tel Aviv and it is incredible!
